I was very thankful for my day out before the huge ice/snow storm hit and we were housebound for 6 long days without Phil, who was traveling for work.

Another quick round of visitors came to see us, too! Mom Z (MeMa) and her friend, Lillian, spent a bitterly cold weekend here. They did a backstage tour of the opry which sounded really cool! I was able to join them on Sunday for the famous "Nash Trash" tour with the Jugg sisters, who were outrageously hilarious... And definitely not PC!
The Evely fam came to Nashville!
It was a quick visit but fun- took the kids to the community center, park, library and to a Disney Pirate and Princess show! They all really enjoyed the show (despite Trey having a terrible cough and runny nose). Thankfully, he never had a fever and really only felt bad one day.

We saw on Facebook that the tv show Family Feud was holding auditions in Louisville. So naturally, I submitted an application for Phil, my Dad, Chad, Molly and me. I had to submit bios and pictures in the application and we were selected to try out in person in Louisville!! We were so excited!!
I brought the boys to KY a few weeks ago and had Family Feud practice. My mom quizzed us from old archive questions. We decided to have a blue and white (UK - go CATS!!) color theme and have my Dad be the captain.
Here's the fab 5 at auditions:
When we got to the auditions there were tons of families there. We quickly filled out our new audition sheets and turned them in. That was great because we were in the second round of audition!
We won our mini-game! Killed it, really. However, the producers don't care who wins, they want energetic people who will make good television. We were competitive. Maybe a little too competitive. I don't think we were as excited and bubbly as some of the other families so this may be the end of the Family Feud road for us... But we will find out for sure within the next 3 weeks.
Regardless, we had a really good time! We ended with a nice lunch at Hard rock.

We had our moms' group Valentine's Day party last week- we decorated cookies and made cards for residents of 2 nursing homes in our community (which we are passing out next week)!
Treyman and Charles had a great time and consumed enough sugar to last all year. Thankfully we were able to head outside to burn it off before naps. Hooray for 60 degree days in Feb! :)
