Seeing Santa & Southern Lights

Christmas is going to be SO fun this year.  I mean, it's always fun, but this year Trey is ACTUALLY old enough to get psyched about the presents and Santa, etc.  And, psyched he is.

My sister, mom and I took the kiddos to see Santa on Wednesday.  And, while Trey did NOT want to sit on Santa's lap, he did talk to him and give him a giant hug at the end of our visit.  We went early enough in the "Christmas season," that there were no lines and he got to spend a lot of time in Santa's Workshop.

That evening, we went to Southern Lights (miles of light displays) at the KY Horse Park with the Evely's and my dad.  Trey was really into it!  At the end of the display, there were all kinds of kid friendly activities.  We went on a train ride, saw some awesome model trains, and went to an exotic petting zoo with kangaroos, reindeer, porcupines, etc. The kids even got to feed the animals.  I've never heard so much giggling in my life!  As we were leaving, the girls' spotted some camel rides, so, obviously, Molly took them.  Trey was a little weary of the camels, so we just watched.  Maybe next year...
