Fall Fun

FINALLY!!!  Fall weather is here.  And, by fall weather, I'm referring to the beautiful 75 degree days, and high 50/low 60 nights we've been having all week.

With the gorgeous weather, we have been doing a lot of outside play time...

We went to a pumpkin patch/petting zoo today to get further into the fall spirit!  I loved it!! (So did Trey).

I'm so excited to take Trey trick-or-treating this year.  He was asleep by that time last year.  Plus, we had just gotten home from a very long drive from PA.

Trey is very much into being, "SCARY."  His nanny goes all out w/ Halloween decorations at her house and Trey has gotten so into it all--  spiders, monsters, witches (which, he clearly refers to as "eww scary bitch" which makes me and Carolyn crack up daily).

Happy fall, everyone!

Trey loves his big boy room!!  The transition has gone so smoothly.  I started him off last weekend by napping on Sat and Sun in his new room.  He did great both days (over 2 hours/each!).  Sunday night was his first full night and I made the mistake of using a night light.  I was worried he would wake up and be disoriented and scared.... instead he was up every couple of hours wanting to play.  It didn't bother me, I was up anyways...

But next night, night light was off and Trey slept his usual 11-12 hrs and woke up very happy.

Race day!

Phil had a 1 mile open water race this morning on Clearwater Beach.  Trey and I had a great time cheering him on!  Trey kept yelling, "Go daddy!! Fast!"  And "kick, kick.". I see a future swimmer in our fam!

Phil placed 2nd overall and earned himself a plaque and couple of free beers at the after party.  So proud.

We've been very busy around these parts.  We are transitioning Trey into his new big boy room tomorrow!   It's almost done, just putting on some finishing touches.  I will post a few pics later this week once he's settled!!

The end in sight...

I had my 32 week appt today and saw the high risk specialist.  From here on out, I'll be followed weekly.  Normally that would happen around 36 weeks, but because I'm at risk for preterm labor, they want to monitor me weekly for the remainder of pregnancy.

My appt was pretty uneventful.  I did not gain any weight since my 30 week appt (yay), but am still already up 28 lbs.  I've heard it's normal to gain more w/ the 2nd, but hopefully, I won't gain too much  more.  It's hard work carrying around an extra 30 lbs!

I've started having some Braxton Hicks contractions, which I did not have at all with my last pregnancy.  They are uncomfortable, but not painful and usually only last a few seconds.  As of now, I show no signs of preterm labor.  The doctor did think that the baby had flipped positions again (back into breech), which means I will probably have to have another U/S in a few weeks to confirm his position.  The HR specialist gave me some information re: risks of VBAC and answered my questions.

Beach Babes

Molly put up some pics of their recent FL trip on her blog, too, so I'm sharing her links below.  She has some of the same, and some other/new ones from her phone.

FL Trip Part One

FL Trip Part Two

And, I've finally gotten around to uploading the beach pics.  This was Abby's first time at the beach!  We also confirmed the difference between boys and girls.  While Molly's girls calmly splashed and played and sat in the sand building castles, Trey ran a marathon around the beach and threw anything he found into the ocean...  never sat still enough for a cute photo...
